New Joint Health and Wellbeing strategy for Berkshire West
The local authority Public Health Team will be asking our sector to assist them with the shaping of Health and Wellbeing initiatives in the coming weeks and months. Here is a message from Dr. Sarah Rayfield who is leading on the formation of strategies for us here in West Berkshire, Reading and Wokingham.

"Reading, West Berkshire and Wokingham Health and Wellbeing boards are working together to produce one new Joint Health and Wellbeing strategy for Berkshire West. The new strategy is in development and about to move into a stage of public engagement. The intention is that this will be far-reaching and that the voice of the public will directly influence the final priorities included in the strategy.

This is a really exciting opportunity to shape the future health and wellbeing of our residents and we are asking everyone to get involved where they can. The engagement will take a number of forms including an online survey, virtual sessions for the public to join the discussion and a number of events specifically for organisations to contribute to. We are also keen to join ongoing conversations between organisations and the public, so we can hear as many voices as possible.

We will be in touch again with further information as dates of sessions are finalised. For now, if you are able to support this engagement in any way or if you have any ongoing focus groups or discussion sessions that we could join, please either let us know or contact the strategy team directly on berkshirewestwellbeing@gmail.com"

Contact & NNPCF Conference 2020. You're Invited!

As the WB Parent Carer Forum, two members of our Steering Group normally attend the conference every year on behalf of all of our parent carers.

However due to the changes in rules for gatherings of people, this years conference is now a virtual one, and you are all invited! Contact who are our grant monitors and the NNPCF who we are members of will be holding a fab series of events, workshops and speakers.
They are interested in your views, and would love you to answer a short survey about what you would like to have at the conference. Please find the link to the survey below, and see the poster about the conference.
This is your opportunity to get involved in the Parent Carer Network, and enable your voice to be heard. 🙂
Please tag anyone you think might be interested in this. Thanks
